Doing so grants the cult thirty Faith, and you can Smooch your spouse(s) once daily to give them extra Loyalty. Wedding lets the Lamb marry one of their Followers. Killing the loser earns fifty Faith, while sparing them earns twenty. When the fight is over, you can choose to spare the loser or have the winner finish them off. The winner of the fight is chosen at random, and is not affected by the Followers' respective ages, traits, or any other features. Ritualistic Fight Pit lets you perform a ritual wherein two Followers fight to the death. The Ritual Of Ascension is much cleaner and arguably has better effects, but has a cooldown and costs Bones. Murdering a Follower means you'll have to get rid of the body, but that can be a good thing if you want to make use of Graves or Natural Burial. Doing so sends a Follower to their eternal reward, removing them from the village while increasing the Faith and Loyalty of everyone who remains.īoth options give you a means of eliminating cultists who are more trouble than they're worth. Praise Virtue lets you conduct the Ritual Of Ascension. This avoids the Faith penalty from disturbing a Follower's sleep! Stop to give them a blessing or just hold them in the interact menu until the rest of your Followers are asleep, then strike. Try to delay your target just as everyone is going to bed for the evening. Doing so restores twenty Faith, effectively negating the penalty for a Follower's death. Sacrificed, Ascended, and eaten followers can be brought back.įuneral allows you to conduct a memorial service for the recently deceased. The resurrected Follower will have the same Traits as they had before they died and will be considered to be the same age they were on the date of their death. The Ritual is very expensive, with a base cost of 150 Bones. Ritual Of Resurrection allows the Lamb to bring a deceased Follower back from the dead. Frequent sacrifices and other ways of making sure your Followers only die from unnatural causes will keep your Faith under control until you have better ways of recovering it. It allows you to grow more powerful by sacrificing Followers without the normal penalty. Overall, Belief In Sacrifice is a stronger choice for most situations. This only affects Followers who die from disease, starvation, exhaustion, or old age. It takes several follower sacrifices to gain a good amount, but getting the amount I'm at now didn't take more than 5 or 6 nights.Belief In Afterlife reduces the Faith penalty imposed when a Follower dies from twenty to five. If you don't get more than one copy when you do this just reload and try again. Gather all your necklaces up before morning because if they are left out too long they will despawn Chase down and capture any critter trying to run away with a necklace and then leave the necklace on the ground for any remaining critters to try to pick up. When they pick it up, there is a chance that they can make 1 or 2 copies of the item (this is not a bug, its an intentional feature of the game) When there are many critters still running around early in the night this can quickly cascade into making several duplicates very quickly. Allow the spiders (or "critters" as the game calls them) that come out at night to pick up and try to run away with the necklace. Prepare the body for burial and after they are wrapped up, loot the corpse so that the golden skull necklace is laying on the ground (don't worry about getting close to the necklace on the ground, you won't automatically pick it up) As it turns night, single out the chosen follower and murder them (or make them eat a dangerous meal) Give a follower (one you don't care about) a golden skull necklace (This follower is going to die) Alright so this takes a little bit of setup (and murder) but its definitely worth it
